Dr. Clint Bevins

Dr. Clint Bevins attended Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky in studies for his animal science degree. He then received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1987. Upon graduation, Dr. Bevins opened a small animal practice in Frankfort, Kentucky, where he has practiced for 32 years. During his career it has been his pleasure and honor to care for pets from their adoption and introduction into a new family and in time to their geriatric years. Clients become friends through relationships and pets become family members to those friends.

Dr. Bevins along with his Margaret and their two children, Emily and Daniel all reside on the Bevins Family Farm in Scott County along with their two cats. The Bevins family currently is awaiting the delivery of a Fox Red Labrador Retriever pup from Wildrose Kennel in Mississippi. C.J. and Robert, the two older children, have gone on to college and other careers. Dr. Bevins has remained active in conservation activities. He was a two-term State Director of National Wild Turkey Federation during its formative years in Kentucky. He has been a donor and Committee Member of Wetherby Ducks Unlimited Chapter for 32 years.

Dr. Bevins has continued his family tradition of farming in Central Kentucky. Bevins Family Farm (BFF) consists of 370 acres and is primarily a purebred Angus operation. Good stewardship of the land has resulted in various awards, including the Master Conservation Award from Energy and Environment Cabinet. The Prescribed Grazing Hero Award as a result of improving soil quality through Prescribed Grazing Technology from the Kentucky Conservation Partnership, and The Master Cattleman Completion through Beef Network Program by Kentucky Agricultural Development Board.

Dr. Bevins is a Board Member of the Scott County Farm Bureau. He also is a member of the American Angus Association, Kentucky Angus Association and Central Kentucky Angus Association.
